Dr. Ellen went to Rosemont College for a combined liberal arts and pre-med program, then to MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia for medical school. She decided to stay at MCP Hahnemann for a residency in Child Psychiatry and it was there that she realized her true passion was Pediatrics. After a brief stint in Psychiatry she started her journey as a Pediatric resident at St Christopher's Hospital for children in 2001. Her first job was at Holland Pediatrics in Bucks county from 2004-2006. She joined Laurel Pediatrics in 2006 and since then she's had the joy of watching her patients grow from infancy into their teenage years.
Dr. Ellen has stayed in the area to keep her close ties with her family, but her home away from home is in the Florida Keys. She enjoys gardening, paddle boarding and going to the local gym, where she can often be seen with her husband. She is involved with local charities including the Boys and Girls Club and 4 Paws Dog Rescue. She has a special interest in fitness and nutrition, and sets a good example for her patients with her healthy lifestyle. She and her husband have three spoiled fur babies: two cats and a little Shih Tzu.
